Telford Combination Champions 2010/2011

Bridgnorth Development FC

Prior to the start of the 2010/2011 season, the club were known as HQ SPORTS & SOCIAL and had spent just two seasons in the TELFORD COMBINATION LEAGUE finishing sixth in 2008 and 2009. During the summer of 2010, the officials of HQ Sports & Social decided to affiliate under the Bridgnorth Town banner as BRIDGNORTH DEVELOPMENT, with the main objective to develop local players who will one day be good enough to play in the first and reserve teams (a concept which the clubs original chairman Mr Terry Briggs would've been proud of).

The first season was a great success as the DEVELOPMENT won the Telford Combination league, at their attempt with a mixture of young and experienced past first team and reserve team players.

Sadly, the club decided not to enter the Telford Combination for the season 2011/12.
